Detroit Goodfellow members and Detroit Police officers along with Wayne County Exeuctive Robert Ficano, Detroit Mayor Dave Bing and Police Chief Warren Evans gathered at the Old Wayne County Building at 10:00 am on November 30, 2009 for the traditional parade through the streets of downtown Detroit. The Detroit Academy of Arts and Sciences marching band and the Detroit Police Color Guard also joined in the festivities. Goodfellow members also enjoyed a complimentary breakfast at Detroit's famous Caucus Club. The band members were treated to lunch courtesy of American Coney Island.
