The Detroit Goodfellows are set to host its 34th Annual Tribute Breakfast honoring Sheila and Steve Hamp with the 2024 Edward H. McNamara Goodfellow of the Year Award. Sheila is principal owner and chair of the Detroit Lions and Steve, former president of The Henry Ford, is chair of the Michigan Education Foundation and sits on the board of the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy.
This year, the Detroit Goodfellows’ goal is $1.2 million.
Every dollar raised goes to fill holiday gift boxes for 26,000 Detroit area schoolchildren ages 4 through 13.
We also provide shoe and dental programs, college scholarships and camperships.
